OK. The first 25 in this series were phrases evidently shared by many of us. This one is a bonus. I've only heard it from my real mother:

My mother taught me about how mothers see sons:

"You just don't understand; you've never been a mother!"

My mind: "No, mom. I don't think I ever will.
